FIRE & EMERGENCY SERVICES

Our Mission Statement: - To Serve the citizens of the Township of Tiny, protecting life and property from fire, hazards, and other emergencies through, accredited emergency response training, aggressive public education and enforcement.

 

The Township of Tiny Fire Department was formed in 1960 and has grown dramatically since that date. The total compliment of the Fire Department to date is 92 members. This includes a Fire Chief, Fire Prevention Officer, 3 Chief Officers (Operations, Training, Mechanical) 5 Station Captains, 10 Lieutenants and 72 Firefighters. All are paid-on-call with the exception of the Fire Chief, Fire Prevention Officer and the Fire Department Secretary.

 

The Fire Department operates 15 pieces of apparatus located in (5) five fire stations located throughout the Township. (5) five pumpers, (5) five tankers,  (2) two rescue vehicles, (2) two utility vehicles and (1) one ATV.
