Planning Information
The Planning Department is responsible for:
- formulating policies and regulations as they relate to land use in the Township;
- all land use planning functions, including the maintenance and upkeep of the Township's Official Plan and Comprehensive Zoning By-law;
- processing of site specific applications for amendments to the Official Plan and Zoning By-law;
- processing of applications for Plans of Subdivision, including the negotiation and preparation of all related agreements;
- processing applications for Consent and Minor Variances;
- examining site plans for Building Permit Applications;
- processing of municipal compliance letters on land transfers;
- providing general information to the general public in response to telephone, counter, and written inquiries.
